A lifelong New Englander with a proven track record of exceeding expectations, Jason Racine brings close to two decades of leadership experience with him to New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where he will serve as the new vice president of operations and development.
Racine joins the New Hampshire Motor Speedway team after spending the last decade as the Plant Manager at Pentair Residential Filtration in Dover, N.H. There, Racine was responsible of a three-shift operation, including manufacturing, maintenance, improvements, as well as environmental, health and safety.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome Jason to our speedway family," said David McGrath, executive vice president and general manager of the speedway. "He has the experience that is vital to succeed in this role and we are very encouraged by the direction of our operations and development departments with Jason at the helm."
As vice president of operations and development, Racine will be responsible for the management of the speedway's daily operations/maintenance functions, construction projects, and continued growth and upkeep of the 1,200-acre sports and entertainment facility.
"As a proud lifelong resident of New Hampshire, I could not be more excited to join one of the state's most influential organizations," said Racine. "Any time you start anew there are challenges. But this is a terrific opportunity for me to grow as a professional with a premier company like Speedway Motorsports Inc. that continues to build and expand its business prospects not only in New Hampshire, but across the country."
Prior to his position in Dover, N.H., Racine spent nearly 10 years working his way up the ladder at Freudenberg-NOK at all three of its Lakes Region locations, serving as a buyer/planner (from 1997-2001), a business group leader (from 2001-04), and as the operations manager from 2004-06. Racine also spent time as a project coordinator at Kalwall Corporation in Manchester, N.H.
Racine graduated with a B.S. in Resource Economics from the University of New Hampshire in Durham and an MBA from Franklin Pierce University in Concord, N.H. He resides in Alton, N.H., where he lives with his wife, Beth, and daughter, Hannah.
