Scott Greenwood continued his hot riding, picking up another win in the Aug. 12 Loudon Road Racing Series Middleweight Grand Prix "Dash for Cash" at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The native of Dunbarton edged his son, Sam Greenwood, by 1.7 seconds.
Greenwood ripped out a super-quick lap time of 01:12.401. His average lap time was 01:12.878, faster than his career average at NHMS of 01:15.416.
Finishing behind the Greenwoods to score a top-five finish were Rick Doucette (Sandown), Adam Andrusia (Plainville, Conn.) and Alex Guilbeault (Litchfield).
With 170 points, Scott Greenwood now leads Christian Cronin (Loudon) by 36 points in the overall standings. Doucette (113 points), Sam Greenwood (102) and Guilbeault (102) round out the top-five.
