The Oval Series runs as a part of U.S. Legend Cars International, featuring legend and bandolero cars, and is partnered with NELCAR for the 2020 season. The schedule features two races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (one on the 0.25-mile mini oval in turns one and two of the speedway & one on the 0.25-mile dirt track known as The Flat Track) and seven races at other racetracks (Hudson Speedway, White Mountain Motorsports Park, Claremont Speedway, Riverside Speedway & Adventure Park & Monadnock Speedway).

Legend car racing is one of the fastest growing and most affordable types of American motorsports. Powered by a motorcycle engine, a legend car is a purpose-built race car designed to resemble the legendary American automobiles of the 1930s and '40s. Drivers range in age from 12 to 65+ years old.

This series allows young race car drivers to bridge the gap between go karts and legend cars. A bandolero car requires a lot more technique and maneuvering than a go kart, but lacks the power of a legend car, which creates a great learning opportunity for drivers in the series as they develop their skills. Participants may be as young as eight years old.

The Granite State Legends Cars dealership emphasizes the growth of developmental racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The store is located in the S1 lot on property. It sells everything needed to begin a racing career in either legends or bandoleros, including ready-to-race cars.

Please note: Minor Waiver Forms must be signed by legal guardian(s), notarized by a notary public and brought to New Hampshire Motor Speedway. If all legal guardians will be present with a minor during an event, the Minor Waiver Form can be filled out on property. COVID-19 Waivers must be signed by anyone participating in an event at NHMS. To expedite the check-in process, please print and fill out this form and present it upon arrival. Waivers will be available at the Operations window at the speedway's Main Entrance for anyone unable to print the form at home.
