Camping Policies

Camping at the racetrack can create memories that can last a lifetime. Before you set up your campsite, take a look at these policies that will help you maximize your getaway at the speedway.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway offers parking for self-contained RVs and campers for Motorcycle Week at NHMS and the NASCAR Cup Series race week. During the NASCAR Cup Series race week, the lots will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, one week in advance of race weekend.

During the week, campers will be able to park nightly until 10 p.m. From 10 p.m. - 8 a.m., campers will be staged in the S11 Lot. RV lots will remain open to car traffic 24 hours a day throughout race week.

RV and camper parking is limited to New Hampshire Motor Speedway ticket holders only. All drivers and their guests must have race day tickets in their possession before driving onto NHMS property. Please do not park in the fire lane between rows of campers. Any vehicle violating this rule is subject to towing.

All RVs and campers must be self-contained with bathroom and water facilities on board. The speedway does not have hook-ups or dumping facilities. Tent camping is only available for NASCAR Cup Series week and is only allowed in the designated S7 lot.

The dumping of gray water and waste on speedway property is strictly prohibited. Because the health and safety of our guests is of utmost importance, any violation of this rule will result in arrest, fines and forfeiture of ticket renewal privileges.

NHMS has parking for campers and RVs with state-issued handicap plates or placards. NHMS reserves the right to refuse handicapped parking to those vehicles which do not contain/hold a person with a handicap. Vehicles parked in a handicapped area without a placard are subject to towing.

Small cooking fires may be allowed only when the Forest Fire Warden deems conditions are safe. No cooking fire should be left unattended and should be put out with water before leaving the RV area. Cooking fires should be fueled with clean wood only. If you are caught burning materials other than clean wood you will lose your rights to renew your race tickets.

Moving untreated out-of-state firewood into New Hampshire can spread damaging insects and diseases that threaten the health of our forests. A quarantine banning the entry of untreated out-of-state firewood into N.H. has been established by the N.H. Department of Resources and Economic Development and the N.H. Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food.

All campsites on the NHMS property are reserved. Groups planning on camping together should work with the Camping Coordinator on purchasing adjacent campsites.

Areas used for RV/camper parking may not be level, blocking is recommended. Hitches must face outward or be accessible from the fire lane for accessing of trailer removal in case of fire or fuel leaks.

All vehicles including RVs, campers and additional tow vehicles must have the correct corresponding pass. Any vehicle without the correct pass may be towed.

Pets must be on a leash at all times. Please clean up after them. Pets are not allowed into the grandstand area.

Prohibited Items:
